Research centers at Ł-PIT (3) have been dealing with engineering simulations based on the FEM method for 25 years. The analysis of static and fatigue strength of the structure allows to determine the level of stresses and deformations depending on the type of loads, boundary conditions and material properties. Calculations take 1-12 weeks depending on the complexity of the facility. The result of simulation analyzes is a report that shows the optimal in terms of shape and weight structure elements (meeting the requirements of the declared or designated structure loads), which allows to reduce costs and production time at the customer. The service is carried out by a FEM simulation specialist and a constructor.
Technical resources used: server dedicated to the service, laptop/workstation, commercial license of simulation software (CAD / CAM - Siemens NX, Unigrapics, Nastran, Abacus, SolidWorks / Inventor).
