The service is based on the testing of RFID tags, placed on the objects specified by the customer. The test concerns: tag operating range and its parameters (e.g. threshold, spatial characteristics) in a specific RFID system.
Testing of RFID tags is carried out with the use of Voyantic Tagformance PRO test stand in non-reflective chambers of Lukasiewicz - PIT. The bench consists of a central UHF/HF RFID reader/programmer unit and a set of laboratory antennas.
The test stand allows measurement and analysis of the signal transmitted by the tracer, such as the threshold and phase of the backscatter and power of the modulated signal.
The obtained results are presented in the form of a report containing both tabular and graphical data (charts), as well as recommendations for object marking ( recommendation of the most suitable marker and conditions of its use).

Testing takes approximately 2 weeks, starting from the delivery of the material for testing (markers and objects to be marked). It is also possible to select markers from the catalog held by Lukasiewicz – Poznan Institute of Technology.
