HPC4Poland EDIH is a non-profit network of 21 business and technology Partners from North-West Poland. Our core objective is to co-create and provide advanced high performance computing tools, addressing the real-life demand of Polish manufacturing companies and public organizations. We believe that acessibility of the right HPCC tools raises competitiveness by:
shorter time-to-market, i.e. the timeframes of new product design/certification,
new personalized products in offer (e.g. companies may simulate numerous versions of the product, its shapes, materials, new applications)
lower costs of new product roll-out thanks to migrating from traditional to virtual laboratories
optimized logistics and manufacturing processes
testing products against extreme conditions, otherwise unavailable in traditional labs

WHAT WE DO
IoT
Internet of Things (IoT) to szereg przedmiotów połączonych z zasobami danych oraz między sobą za pomocą sieci komputerowej. W zastanym środowisku przemysłowym wdrożenia IoT zwykle wymagają wyposażenia istniejących maszyn w sensory.
High Performance Computing (HPC) to wysoko wydajne obliczenia komputerowe, prowadzone na komputerach dużej mocy, połączonych szybką siecią z dostępem do dużych magazynów danych. Wydajne obliczenia HPC stanowią bazę dla usług w innych obszarach technologicznych.
Virtual Reality/Augmented Reality (VR/AR) to technologie zanurzenia cyfrowego, polegające na przeniesieniu użytkownika w symulowaną cyfrowo – wirtualną rzeczywistość (VR), lub na uzupełnieniu rzeczywistego otoczenia/obiektów treściami cyfrowymi (AR).
